Maiden Voyage is a quartet of femme jazz players who came together in-step to hip-swinging free groove jazz poetry. Inspired by artists such as Alice Coltrane, Erykah Badu, Herbie Hancock, Amy Winehouse, and Pharoah Sanders, we are at the port of Vancouver to siren-ade you. Leaning into an alternative meaning to Maiden Voyage, this is not the first voyage of the ship, rather a journey on a friendShip of maidens with musical acuity. Fair winds and following seas.
